HKS New EVC boostcontroller
An effective way to increase the power an torque a fair bit is raising the boost level. This can be done with a(n electronic) boost controller. Due to positive experience with the previous model, I went for an HKS Electronic Valve Controller (EVC, boost controller) again. It can be used for both internal and external wastegates and holds boost very steady. The new version has a few extra features added like rev- related boost mapping (requires additional HKS software and data cable) and I can check the throttle signal with it. Peak hold is 61 kPa, the EVC is on the B (high boost) setting and the car is idling @ -65 kPa Related links How to install an electronic boost controller Modifications - Engine T-VSV disconnection Top |
